How to Play Halloween Minute to Win It Games
1. Pumpkin Stack
Supplies: 10 orange plastic cups.
Place the cups in one stack on a table. Start the timer and have the player build a pyramid with four cups on the bottom, then three, two, and one on top. Once the full pyramid stands, the player takes it down and returns all 10 cups to one stack.
🎃 The challenge: Build the pyramid and restack the cups within 60 seconds.
2. Eyeball Bounce
Supplies: Ping-pong ball and a plastic cup.
Draw an eyeball on the ball if you like. Place the cup on a table and mark a starting line. Players bounce the ball once on the table and try to land it inside the cup. Leave the cup in place throughout the round.
👀 The challenge: Land the eyeball in the cup within 60 seconds.
3. Spider Rescue
Supplies: Plastic spiders, a spoon, and two bowls.
Put the spiders in one bowl and place the empty bowl about three feet away. Players carry one spider at a time on the spoon and tip it into the empty bowl. They cannot touch the spiders with their hands.
🕸The challenge: Rescue five spiders within 60 seconds.
4. Ghost Race
Supplies: Cotton ball, straw, and two or three plastic cups.
Set the cups on a table as obstacles and mark a start and finish line. Place the cotton-ball ghost at the start. Players blow through a straw to move the ghost around the obstacles and toward the finish. Hands and straws cannot touch the ghost.
👻 The challenge: Get the ghost across the finish line within 60 seconds.
💡 Group tip: Give each player their own straw and cotton ball.
5. Ghost Bowling
Supplies: Six white plastic cups and a small ball.
Add ghost faces to the cups if you like, then arrange them like bowling pins on the floor. Mark a starting line. Players roll the ball toward the ghosts, staying behind the line. Roll the ball instead of throwing it.
👻 The challenge: Knock down all six ghosts within 60 seconds.

Classroom party stations: Set up a few games around the room. Small groups rotate through the stations while an adult or helper explains each challenge.
Family game night: Choose three games and let everyone take a turn. Repeat a favorite to see whether players can improve their results.
Team challenges: Have one player from each team take a turn. Award a point for completing the challenge, then add the points at the end.
Younger players: Move targets closer, reduce the number of items to collect, or allow extra time. Practice a round before starting the timer.
Cooperative play: Invite kids to work toward a group goal or beat their own previous score.
